Room 407 started as a door number
It was the fourth-floor room we borrowed to shoot our first campaign — one softbox, a black wall and far too much coffee. The name stuck. The standard did too.
Today we're a small, senior team of photographers, cinematographers, editors and colourists working across Johannesburg and wherever the story lives.
We shoot editorial and campaign photography, brand films, weddings, product and live events. What holds it together is a way of working: understand the outcome, design the light, protect the atmosphere, finish properly.
Clients stay with us because the work holds up years later — long after the trend that inspired the moodboard has passed.
